During term time there are two youth groups which meet for young people of secondary and sixth form age.
GIFT (Growing in Faith Together) is for young people in school years 7 to 9. This group meets for a planned a selection of social activities and informal evenings with a Christian focus but always including games, crafts, refreshments and fun! The programme even includes some evenings with the Vicar! Occasionally 7-8@StJ's meets up with the older group, SALT, for socials such as bowling, games evenings etc.
SALT (Sharing and Laughing Together) is for young people in school years 10 to 13. The term's programme for SALT includes a planned selection of social activities. There are also informal evenings with a Christian focus where the young people have opportunities to explore everyday dilemmas and issues and the Christian response.
