Information

Parents Group

We have a new group running for parents who may find it difficult getting to church on a Sunday or just challenging to connect spiritually to the service due to little ones needing your attention.

We meet every Friday afternoon 1:30-2:30pm for tea, biscuits, a gospel reading and chat. If you have little ones with you they are welcome too.

If you would like to join our friendly group just drop us a line at pioneerstjohns@gmail.com or just drop in.

Children's Church

We meet every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month during the morning service for crafts, stories, games and fun!

Any children from 4 years old and up are more than welcome. Younger children are welcome with parents.

For any further information please contact the church office or email the team at pioneerstjohns@gmail.com

What's been happening?

Saturday Music

We had a wonderful evening of fantastic music from John Meed and his band and Thursdays Band. Everyone really enjoyed the evening. Thank you to everyone who came and a big thankyou to John and his friends for sharing their music with us!

Easter

We had a wonderful flowering of the cross for Easter Sunday. Thank you to all who took part in this flowering and the procession.

We also had a beautiful Easter garden put together by Clare.

Both a beautiful way to celebrate Easter. Thankyou!

Messy Easter

We had a wonderful afternoon of crafts, a telling of the Easter story and a shared snack. Lots of children enjoyed creating crafts connected to the Easter story.

Hits from the musicals.

We had a wonderful evening enjoying hits from the musicals, beautifully sung by Jo Dodds accompanied by Roger Lilley. Thankyou to everyone who came, we hope you enjoyed it too, and for the generous donations gratefully received.
